Starting Your WordPress Site

After getting a domain name, you have to decide on a theme for your site. Simply head over to “appearance” on the left side and click on “themes.” It’s important to make sure the theme you use works well with Elementor. Elementor is a page builder. This allows you to create a site easily.
After downloading Elementor from the “Plugins” section, go to “Add New” from the Pages tab. Add a page named “Home” to start with.
When you hit edit with Elementor, you’ll be redirected to the page builder. You have the option of using free templates with it. Just click on the folder area.
Head over to “Settings” after you’ve set up your 1st page named Home. It’s here you click on “Reading.” Once there you want a static page to be your “Home” page. This means it doesn’t change and it’s the 1st thing people will see when they go to your site. Save changes!
